SUMMARY:2026 Summer Soirée
DESCRIPTION:Thank you to all who attended and supported our 2026 Summer Soirée! Despite rainy weather earlier in the day\, the evening turned out to be absolutely incredible. We are so grateful to our sponsors\, attendees\, donors\, program advertisers\, volunteers\, staff\, and everyone who made it such a beautiful and successful evening at Farm Neck. Because of your support\, this year’s event was a wonderful success\, raising a record-breaking over $325\,000 and counting. All proceeds from the Soirée will help Hospice & Palliative Care of Martha’s Vineyard continue to serve our Island community with quality hospice\, palliative and bereavement services. \nWe extend our deepest appreciation to our guest speaker Barbara Rush\, who was joined by her mother Elizabeth Huss\, for sharing her touching story of her experience with our services. We were also thrilled to share a first look at our new video\, “Don’t Wait\,” created by Circuit Films. \nA heartfelt thank you to our incredible auctioneer\, Ailie Byers\, who brought so much energy and warmth to the evening! We all felt the love with Hands-Up for Hospice! \nThank you to our host\, Farm Neck Golf Club\, our caterer\, V. Jaime Hamlin and Sons\, and our event in-kind donors: Cronig’s Market\, Michael Santoro/Net Result\, Our Market\, Your Market\, Offshore Ale\, Island Source\, Tony’s Market\, Jim’s Package Store\, Cash & Carry\, Vineyard Grocer\, Black Sheep\, Black Dog Bakery\, Patti Linn\, Stop & Shop\, North Tabor Farm\, Whippoorwill Farm\, Slough Farm\, Ghost Island Farm\, Fire Cat Farm\, Donaroma’s\, Morrice Florist\, and MV Garden Club Members! \nWe are also deeply grateful to all those who donated items\, gift certificates\, and experiences to our live\, silent\, and online auctions! Thank you to Mark Forbus\, Peter Sawyer & team\, Jeremy Berlin\, and so many more for helping make this event so fabulous!
