DESCRIPTION:Thank you to all who attended and supported our 2026 Summer Soirée! Despite rainy weather earlier in the day\, the evening turned out to be absolutely incredible. We are so grateful to our sponsors\, attendees\, donors\, program advertisers\, volunteers\, staff\, and everyone who made it such a beautiful and successful evening at Farm Neck. Because of your support\, this year’s event was a wonderful success\, raising a record-breaking over $325\,000 and counting. All proceeds from the Soirée will help Hospice & Palliative Care of Martha’s Vineyard continue to serve our Island community with quality hospice\, palliative and bereavement services. \nWe extend our deepest appreciation to our guest speaker Barbara Rush\, who was joined by her mother Elizabeth Huss\, for sharing her touching story of her experience with our services. We were also thrilled to share a first look at our new video\, “Don’t Wait\,” created by Circuit Films. \nA heartfelt thank you to our incredible auctioneer\, Ailie Byers\, who brought so much energy and warmth to the evening! We all felt the love with Hands-Up for Hospice! \nThank you to our host\, Farm Neck Golf Club\, our caterer\, V. DESCRIPTION:Our annual family grief camp supports children and teens in grades K-8\, and their families who have experienced the death of someone close to them. Camp By The Sea combines grief support and education with fun activities such as face painting\, arts & crafts\, yoga class\, visiting farm animals\, music\, and more. Our staff will provide a safe place to explore grief\, share memories\, and make connections. Camp By The Sea is offered at no cost to participants. This is a special place to find unique\, handmade gifts for family and friends. Enjoy the beautifully decorated Dr. Daniel Fisher House\, and tasty treats at the Hospice-tality Café. Proceeds from cafe sales go directly to our Christopher Fund. This fund has been helping patients and their families pay for out-of-pocket medical and related expenses since 1998. \nAre you an artisan looking to showcase your craft and support a great cause? \nHospice & Palliative Care of Martha’s Vineyard is inviting all artisans\, from candlestick makers to knitters and bakers\, to contribute to our Handmade From The Heart fundraiser.
