June 11-17: Celebrating CNA Week, Honoring Compassionate Care
During CNA Week, we proudly recognize our Certified Nursing Assistants and Hospice Aides, whose dedication, compassion, and kindness make a meaningful difference in the lives of the patients and families we serve. Often providing hands-on care and companionship, CNAs build trusted relationships and offer comfort during some of life’s most important moments.
Thank you to our compassionate CNAs, Nadia and Meg, for your commitment to preserving dignity, supporting independence, and delivering exceptional care. Your work is the heart of our mission!

HPCMV Grief Counselor Jill Demeny is Headed to Texas for A Symposium on Childhood Grief
Next week, Jill is heading to the 29th Annual National Symposium on Children’s Grief, hosted by the National Alliance for Children’s Grief (NACG). It will take place in San Antonio, TX, from June 15 to June 17, 2026. The multi-day event provides comprehensive educational programming, workshops, and networking for professionals supporting grieving youth.
We thank the Martha’s Vineyard Community Foundation for a grant that funds professional education and training in children’s grief support for our counselors. This grant helps us provide age-appropriate grief support to young people in our community as they navigate loss and healing.
